Omni Transport Logistics LLC is hiring a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Carson, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse and facilities, ensuring efficiency and safety at all times. This role is ideal for individuals with excellent coordination, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts to ensure optimal functionality.
- Organize and store materials in designated areas to maximize warehouse space.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or damage.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including inventory management, as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and report any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
